Celebrate HER: mini post: midweek review

Celebrate Her--Ottawa's festival celebrating arts and women from March 3-10th--has been in full swing since last Saturday. Brian and I have been attending as many of the events as possible, live tweeting as we go. So far this week, we've seen Arif Jinha make the sitar into something ephemeral and sweet, and Anastasia Filippova sing her soul out while accompanying herself on the piano. Brian attended events this evening while I returned to college for the first time in half a decade (more on this later). There are still 4 days of Celebrate Her events to go, and it's all raising money for a great cause, so be sure sure to stop on in to hear some great music, and see the wall of recognized local women (yes, with yours truly included).

For a full list of events check out the events page on the Celebrate Her web site and to follow the tweets of the evet use the hash tag #Cher2012 or tweet directly to the amazing celebrate her team @celebrateherorg
